Kevin B. Dunn, M.D.

As a fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopedist, Dr. Kevin Dunn has extensive knowledge and training in the nonsurgical treatment of injuries and conditions related to the spine and sports medicine as well as physical medicine and rehabilitation. 

After graduating from The University of Vermont in Burlington with his Bachelor of Science degree, Dr. Dunn attended the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, where he earned his Master of Science degree in education. He then went to St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, to receive his medical degree. Dr. Dunn did his internal medicine internship at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune City, New Jersey, before completing a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York. Following his residency, Dr. Dunn did an additional year of training with a physical medicine and rehabilitation sports and spine fellowship at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, New Jersey.

Dr. Dunn is an expert in a variety of nonsurgical treatments and techniques, including joint, tendon, ligament, and trigger point injections, ultrasound-guided and fluoroscopically guided injections, Tenex and TenJet procedures, and lumbar spinal procedures, such as epidural and facet joint injections. He also utilizes orthobiologics, diagnostic ultrasound, electromyography, and nerve conduction studies.

Dr. Dunn finds joy in watching his patients accomplish their goals with less pain and better function, from walking up a flight of stairs to running a marathon. Initially, Dr. Dunn’s goal was to be an athletic trainer. After a tremendous experience with the Atlanta Falcons athletic training staff, his attraction to the energy and commitment of sports medicine made him decide to take his training a step further towards becoming a physician, knowing sports medicine was his ultimate goal.

When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Dunn enjoys playing golf, surfing, and playing paddle tennis.
