The following are reviews from patients of Dr. Lombardi
  • “I came to Dr. Paul Lombardi after two months of going in circles with a cause for my problem. Within ten minutes I knew that osteoarthritis diagnosis I had been given elsewhere, had nothing to do with my symptoms. I had a photo of my leg sent to a infectious disease doctor. Dr. Lombardi and this infectious disease doctor spoke on the phone and order blood work and gave me an antibiotic to start me on until I would see the infectious disease doctor the very next week. Dr. Lombardi went out of his way, to get me to the right place and in a time frame that allowed me to have all the answers and the right medication in days not weeks. He also has a wonderful manner and he is calming and reassuring. I am so glad I was given his name and I can only say thank you again. God knows how much worse this would have been without him directing me to Dr. McManus. I will refer anyone I know that needs a good orthopedic doctor, and I can rave about your staff as well. All so very nice. Glad you came up to Sussex County. Thank you.”

  • “Thank you to the entire team at your Sparta facility and to Dr. Lombardi who put me at ease and answered all my questions. Very impressed with this amazing practice.”

  • “I went to see Dr. Willis in January of 2012 after an MRI showed I had completely torn my rotator cuff. Dr. Willis was hopeful about my surgery, since my tear was old and massive. I am a drummer and wondered if I would ever play again. Drumming is something that I have done for 35 years. I had surgery on February 10, 2012 and from his expertise, his great team, including Brett the physician assistant, I made a full recovery!  It is now October and I just performed for the first time since surgery and I have never felt better. I am stronger than ever and have zero pain! What was also great was how happy Dr. Willis was when I had my final appointment in July and he realized my full recovery. The look on his face shows how much he cares about his work and his patients.”

  • “I was involved in a bicycle accident and fractured my hip and seriously broke my elbow. I had to be transferred from another hospital where I was initially brought by ambulance and the team at Tri-County Orthopedics (both Drs. Lombardi and Willis and their physician assistants, Oliver Chan and Brett Larsen). They all worked together on my behalf, coordinating the move and getting me scheduled for both surgeries simultaneously. I was completely satisfied with my surgeries and thorough follow up, including occupational therapy immediately to restore range of motion and strength to my arm. I am now two weeks post-op and the poster child for orthopedic surgery thanks to their expertise.”

  • “All of my questions were answered in a timely, friendly manner.”
    – Gregory M.
  • “Having a knee replacement is hard enough to decide on whether or not to have one, but I must say that I feel comfortable with the professional treatment that I got from Dr. Colizza. I am feeling very relaxed about getting on with the surgery. Thanks again staff!”
    – Paul S.
  • “I had a problem for years with my shoulder which I ignored but ultimately could not rely on it for every day use. I saw Dr. Willis and after x-rays and a MRI, it was determined I required surgery. I returned to work two weeks after surgery, and within eight months consisting of physical therapy and performing a home exercise program, I feel my arm is much stronger than my dominant side. My son was also seen by Dr. Willis from an overuse elbow injury from pitching. It was a toss up between surgery or a more conservative approach and Dr. Willis decided to take the conservative approach. He recommended physical therapy and had him stop playing baseball for a few months that spring. My son was able to return to baseball that fall playing 1st base and this spring he will be able to pitch once again :) I’m extremely pleased with Dr. Willis and the whole Tri-County staff.”

  • “I was pleased at how quickly I could be seen after my injury and how soon we could set up the surgery. The staff was very nice, especially helping me prepare for surgery and during follow up.”
    – Catherine R.

  • “Dr. Ginsberg is treating my daughter for a concussion she sustained in a field hockey game. Dr. Ginsberg is very thorough and caring with her. I like (as a mother) that she does not rush the weekly exam and she seems truly concerned about my daughter's condition. She takes the time to explain what she is doing and why. She also listens to our concerns and answers all our questions thoroughly.”

  • “My 11 year old daughter, Kayla, fell at school. The school nurse told my daughter she would most likely need an X-ray. Friday evening we spent three hours in the ER, only to be told they were treating it as if it was a broken finger because her fingers were too swollen and bruised for the X-rays to show anything. By Sunday night Kayla was in unbelievable pain. Tri-County Orthopedics was referred to me by our primary physician. Dr. McBride was able to make the time to see my daughter within an hour of our call. His bed-side manner was outstanding! It has been my experience that most doctors only speak to the parent(s) and not the child. Dr. McBride was absolutely wonderful in the way he spoke to and treated both my daughter and I. He clearly is an expert in his field. Without X-rays he was able to determine she had broken her finger in not one, but two places, and she also fractured her growth plate. He gave her the options of a fiberglass splint or simple bands to hold her fingers in place, and by letting her make that decision, she really felt like she was in charge of what happened to her and in turn, the whining and complaints to me ended (can't thank you enough Dr. McBride!) From the minute we checked in at the front desk, until we were getting our final instructions on our way out, each and every person at Tri-County Orthopedics that we encountered was nothing but 100% caring, competent professionals. It was truly an unexpected and refreshing experience that each and every person was so kind, so caring, and so professional. I would HIGHLY recommend Tri-County Orthopedics for any orthopedic need you may have. With confidence I say the entire experience should prove to be a great one!”

  • “For over 4 years now, I've been having intense shoulder pain in my left arm when doing a particular movement (moving my arm up when my left arm is across the body). After visiting numerous doctors, having X-rays, and blood drawn with no results, I came to Tri-County Orthopedics. Dr. Claudia Ginsberg had me do a range of motions, called for another X-ray, and told me her diagnosis: tendinitis. She explained quite thoroughly what was happening to my shoulder and assured me that the pain would go away over time with physical therapy. What was truly great about Dr. Ginsberg is that she took the time to explain everything. Up until that point, doctors had treated me like a number, spending as little time as possible with me in the office, never explaining the diagnosis, and just prescribing pain killers or muscle relaxants. When I'd ask questions, I was treated as if I was being too difficult. Dr. Ginsberg took the time to help me understand what was going on. As a result, instead of feeling exasperated with doctors as I did with my previous doctor visits, I felt as if my shoulder pain was curable. I now know that to be a fact. Two weeks into physical therapy, and my shoulder pain is slowly going away. Thank you, Dr. Ginsberg and Tri-County Orthopedics!”

  • “The office staff was very efficient and courteous. The office was well ran, and I was seen in a very short period of time after my on time arrival. Dr. Montgomery was very thorough, and so was the P.A. who was working with him. I traveled to Tri-County Orthopedics from Long Island for the first time and I would be happy to continue to be treated at the practice.”
    – Kevin G.
  • “Dr. Goldberger has been fantastic. He came into my case after another doctor had already done some work, and has been very helpful. He answers all my questions and is very understanding about the fact that I'm getting really sick of being in a boot after more than two months!”
    – Sue T.
  • “In the last few months I have had to deal with a knee injury and a lower back injury. I have received treatments and consultations with Dr. Montgomery, Dr. Longworth, and Dr. Colizza. All have been very informative, caring and thorough. As I prepare to make a decision to get surgery, it is reassuring to know that I will be treated by a team of doctors that truly care for their patients’ health and recovery. The optimism and confidence of this team of doctors is second to none!”

  • “I would like recognize and say thank you to Dr. Robert T. Goldman for an excellent job. I went in to his office on crutches and was unable to walk for the past four months. His staff are also very professional, polite, and you feel very relaxed during your visit. Dr. Goldman is very professional and an excellent surgeon. I have experienced little discomfort and the incision healed quickly. After surgery, I was able to walk within two weeks with a single crutch and was walking without a cane within a month. I was able to resume my normal life within six weeks of surgery and I'm back at work. I would recommend Dr. Robert T. Goldman to everyone who has issues with their hip and requires surgery.”
    – Luiz P.

I look forward to being treated by Dr. Goldman and having a full recovery.”

  • “Dr. McBride was very thorough in his examination of my elbows & diagnosed my problems as tennis elbow. He gave me some suggestions for exercises to help instead of prescribing physical therapy right away. I feel very confident about what to do after my appointment with Dr. McBride.”
    – Lori V.
  • “Extremely professional, personal, and all in all great.”
    – Linda P.
