Dr. Paul Lombardi Named 2020 Jersey Choice Top Doctor for 14th Year

One of New Jersey’s longest established top doctors, Dr. Paul Lombardi of Tri-County Orthopedics, was recently recognized as a Jersey Choice Top Doctor in New Jersey Monthly magazine. This marks Dr. Lombardi’s 14th consecutive year in earning this distinction. A fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopedic surgeon and joint replacement specialist, Dr. Lombardi sees patients at the practice’s locations in Cedar Knolls at 197 Ridgedale Ave., Suite 300, and Sparta at 376 Lafayette Road, Suite 103, Route 15 South.

Tri-County Orthopedics Helps Vietnam Surgeon Perform Groundbreaking Procedure

When a 35-year-old motorist got in an accident early this year and had complications in his hip after treatment, he found the ambitious orthopedic surgeon Truong Viet Thong, M.D., in Ho Chi Minh City. Three weeks after Dr. Thong’s patient underwent a new surgery, Dr. Thong says, “he felt great and went back to his normal life.”

Helping Patients Through COVID-19

Dr. Aaron Forbes recently had a trauma patient in need of a distal femoral replacement. Using the latest implant technology and having been able to treat the patient’s periprosthetic fracture during the COVID-19 restrictions, Dr. Forbes was recognized by the orthopedic device company DePuy Synthes.
