Dr. Paul Lombardi Named 2020 Jersey Choice Top Doctor for 14th Year

One of New Jersey’s longest established top doctors, Dr. Paul Lombardi of Tri-County Orthopedics, was recently recognized as a Jersey Choice Top Doctor in New Jersey Monthly magazine. This marks Dr. Lombardi’s 14th consecutive year in earning this distinction. As one of New Jersey Monthly magazine’s 2020 Jersey Choice Top Doctors, Dr. Lombardi was elected by his peers through a ballot and questionnaire sent to thousands of New Jersey-based doctors. Selection for the list is based on a thorough survey from a dedicated research team and a professional advisory board of doctors. The team surveyed doctors throughout the state to perform a comprehensive evaluation of the region’s leading surgeons, asking them which doctor peers they would choose to treat members of their own family. 

Dr. Lombardi was fellowship-trained at Hospital for Special Surgery, received his medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and served at Albany Medical Center for his residency. Dr. Lombardi is one of the region’s most recognized hip and knee replacement experts, and he is the largest volume hip replacement surgeon in the Tri-State area. He has a particular interest in performing hip reconstruction procedures and minimally invasive joint replacements, including anterior hip replacement.
