Dr. Robert D'Agostini celebrates two decades as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor

Robert J. D'Agostini, Jr., M.D., board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Tri-County Orthopedics, was recently recognized as a 2017 Top Doctor in the New York Metro Area by Castle Connolly, marking his 20th consecutive year receiving the honor. Dr. D'Agostini's expertise is focused on total joint care, including specialized ankle, hip, knee and shoulder treatment as well as the latest advances in joint replacement and sports medicine care. He sees patients at Tri-County Orthopedics' Cedar Knolls location at The Advanced Medical Center, 197 Ridgedale Ave., Suite 300, and at the practice's Bedminster location at 1590 Route 206 N. 

In addition to his now 20-year reign as one of Castle Connolly's Top Doctors in the New York Metro Area, Dr. D'Agostini has served as team physician for area schools, such as Bernards High School, The Pingry School and Ridge High School, for over 30 years. "It is an honor to receive such extensive recognition for service that I feel so privileged to provide," says Dr. D'Agostini. "As a joint surgeon and member of the dedicated sports medicine team at Tri-County Orthopedics, I'm proud to devote my practice to helping our community stay active and healthy."

Dr. D'Agostini has dedicated his entire career to helping people keep moving, from caring for Washington Redskins players during his orthopedic residency to developing customized treatment plans for friends and neighbors in the Bedminster community. He has a wealth of experience in treating sports injuries and serves as one of the local experts in partial knee replacements, such as unicompartmental knee replacements, as well as total hip, knee and shoulder replacements to relieve arthritis and other wear-and-tear conditions of the joint.
