Dr. Wayne Colizza Selected for 2019 Vitals Patients’ Choice Award

Fellowship-trained joint reconstruction and sports medicine surgeon Wayne A. Colizza, M.D., of Tri-County Orthopedics was recently selected as a 2019 Vitals Patients’ Choice Award winner. This award recognizes top doctors and is determined based on patient reviews and ratings received throughout the year.

Dr. Colizza specializes in arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder, minimally invasive hip and knee replacement surgery and hip resurfacing. He received his medical degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. After medical school, Dr. Colizza completed a surgical internship at Royal Victoria Hospital, also in Montreal, and his residency training in orthopedic surgery at McGill University. Following his residency, he underwent a fellowship in reconstructive joint surgery and sports medicine at the Insall Scott Kelly Institute for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in New York.
