Experienced Local Knee, Shoulder, Sports Medicine Expert Dr. Harlan Hiramoto Now Seeing Patients at Tri-County Orthopedics in Bridgewater

Board-certified orthopedic surgeon Harlan E. Hiramoto, M.D., has joined the team of experts at Tri-County Orthopedics — the most preferred, recognized and awarded orthopedic practice in the region. Dr. Hiramoto is a knee, shoulder and sports medicine expert who will be seeing patients at the practice’s newest location in Bridgewater at 465 Union Ave., Suite C. Providing experienced orthopedic and sports medicine care to the Somerset and Hunterdon county communities for over 30 years, Dr. Hiramoto specializes in helping athletes and active individuals heal, recover and get back to doing what they love. Offering care for a broad range of knee and shoulder injuries and conditions, Dr. Hiramoto’s expertise includes nonsurgical and surgical treatments, such as:

  • ACL repairs.
  • Closed reduction procedures.
  • Hyaluronan joint injections.
  • Minimally invasive arthroscopic knee surgery.
  • Minimally invasive arthroscopic shoulder surgery.

Dr. Hiramoto earned his medical degree at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile. Following medical school, he completed a rotating internship at Tulane University in New Orleans then a general surgery internship at East Orange VA Medical Center and Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey. He went on to complete his orthopedic surgery residency at UMDNJ New Jersey Medical School, which was also in Newark. Dr. Hiramoto was later board-certified in orthopedic surgery through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
